The Packaging Program at CPSU offers scholarships to students who identify Packaging as a curriculum objective (Packaging Minor). Students are encouraged to apply on the web via my.calpoly.edu.

The Financial Aid Office awarding cycle is as follows:

Jan 1 - March 2 Scholarship applications filing period
March 12 Scholarship applications out to University Scholarship Committee for scoring
March 29 Begin data entry of scores
Mid-end of April College and department reports generated
Week of April 26 Initial mailing scholarship notices, to continue on a weekly basis
May 5-21 University Scholarship Committee meetings during this period

Some scholarships are awarded at a varying schedule. Please speak with the Packaging Program Advisor.

Boeing

  • 2 @ $1500 and 2 @ $1000 for IT (apply to the Financial Aid Office)
  • Requirements:
    • Minimum 3.0 GPA
    • Financial need for at least in each group
    • Class level: junior or senior with at least one AY remaining
    • California resident

Industrial Technology Society

  • 1 @ $1600 OR 2 @ $800 (apply to the Financial Aid Office)
  • Requirements:
    • To active ITS members in good academic standing
    • Preference to undergrad junior or senior with financial need
    • Demonstrated support (activities) of ITS
    • Minimum 2.5 GPA

Bert W. Martin

  • 5 @ $1150 (apply to the Financial Aid Office)
  • Requirements:
    • Packaging minor
    • Minimum 2.5 GPA
    • Financial need
    • Demonstrated interest and activity in the minor

Petroleum Packaging Council

  • 1 @ $2000 OR 2 @ $1000 (apply to the Financial Aid Office)
  • Requirements:
    • Student in good academic standing
    • Packaging minor

Roy Wheeler III Memorial

  • 1@ $500 (apply to the Financial Aid Office)
  • Requirements:
    • Student must be in good academic standing
    • Industrial Technology major
    • Packaging minor
    • Class level is open

Paperboard Packaging Alliance

  • 1 @ $1000 (apply to the Packaging Advisor)
  • Requirements:
    • Junior or senior
    • Good academic standing (at least 3.0 GPA)
    • Financial need
    • Packaging minor
